WHO WE ARE

Leiberts Royal Green Appliance Center began in 1955 when Harry, Sam, and Jack Leibert decided to open up a small appliance center for the burgeoning upscale communities located in Westchester County, N.Y. From its humble beginnings as Leibert Brothers Appliance Center, the company has weathered the test of time and endurance while at the same time maintaining its roots as a family run business focused on the highest level of customer satisfaction. From its start in a 500 square foot location on East Post Road in White Plains, Leiberts Royal Green Appliance Center has expanded to a 20,000 square foot showroom encompassing almost an entire city block. The showroom contains 5 Living Kitchens and contains every major category of appliance from the higher end brands like Wolf, Sub Zero, Viking, Thermador, Meile, Asko, Bosch, Dacor and the like, to the more cost effective GE, Frigidaire, Whirlpool, Kitchenaid, Maytag brands.

From its Westchester location, Leiberts Royal Green Appliance Center caters to the entire Tri-State region and receives more than 90 percent of its business from repeat and referred customers. Leiberts has withstood the test of time and chain stores and has flourished by giving personal service, providing award winning installations, maintaining competitive prices and meeting changing customer needs. In 2003, The New York Times did an expose on Leiberts, praising it for its award winning service, and in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 Leiberts was named “Best of Westchester” by Westchester Magazine, becoming the first appliance dealer to win the prestigious Editor’s Choice Award in 2007.

Leiberts.com was born out of our referring customer bases’ children and grandchildren, now located all over the United States, who wanted an easy and secure way to buy from their family’s appliance store. Ron Serafin- Owner

Ron Serafin has been in the appliance business for almost 40 years. He has worked in many areas in wholesale and retail. In addition, Ron has worked for many well-known appliance stores and distributors. The only other place Ron would rather be than in his appliance store is on his boat!

Stuart Royal- Owner and President

Stuart Royal cannot remember a time when appliances were not part of his life. He worked for Rosners Appliances in South Yonkers since the age of fourteen. First a stock boy, Stuart moved up in the ranks quickly; he was soon promoted to salesman and eventually manager. He then moved to Consumer Appliances, Inc. where he worked along side Tony and Jeffrey for years. Stuart's expertise in the field and his handiness with appliances has garnered him a large, loyal following. In fact, to this day, Stuart can tell you exactly what kind of air conditioner will fit in a window or sleeve of any apartment he walks by!

Jay Greenspan- Owner

Jay has been in the appliance business for over thirty five years. One of the top producing individual salesman in the entire country, Jayhas spent twenty of those years becoming an expert in general contracting. This adds to his extensive knowledge of how appliances function in customers' homes and what will best suit their needs. Often used as an expert by designers and architects as a source for their designs and specs, Jay continues to set the standard for excellence in the industry.

Rob Satran- VP of Operations, General Counsel

Rob comes to us after heading up the law firm of Satran Panzavecchia & Alesia, PLLC for the past 11 years. For the past 5 years, Rob has served as counsel for the company, overseeing and structuring all new business development. Ever on the lookout for new business opportunities for Leiberts, Rob has been charged with taking Leiberts national in an effort to expand and build upon the foundation that has been laid over the last 60 years.

Antonio Martins- Salesman

Antonio (or Tony as he is known to most customers) started his career in appliances as a repairman more than 30 years ago. He also worked for Consumer Appliances, Inc., which was located on Central Park Avenue in Yonkers for eight years. Tony has been with Leiberts Royal Green since 1997. He has an excellent reputation for knowing the "ins and outs" of appliances because of his hands-on experience. Tony is also fluent in both Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian.

Lou Garcia- Salesman

In high school, Lou Garcia decided to take a job working as a stock boy for a local appliance store. Now, forty years later, Lou is still working with appliances, though he has moved well beyond his high school days. He joined Leiberts Royal Green Appliances in March 2003 and continues to be an integral member of our sales staff. Lou is also fluent in Spanish.

Joseph Henderson- Salesman

Joseph is the unofficial Chief Technology Officer of Leiberts Royal Green Appliance, overseeing the technological development of Leiberts.com. Since joining us in April of 2005 Joe has fast become an expert not only in the appliance field but in the technology arena as well. Overseeing a staff of 5, that handle all aspects of leiberts.com’s development, Joe is a major contributor to Leiberts.com bright future.

Jon Brignoni- Salesman

Jon began working with the company in November of 2004. John has worked for other well-known companies during his 20 years in the appliance business. He credits the insight he has in understanding customers' needs to his experience in selling many different appliances over the years.

Alfred Esposito- Salesman

Alfred has been in the appliance business since he could ride a bike- literally! From the time he was 12, Alfred would bike to his job as a stock boy at Stelling Appliances on Central Park Avenue in Yonkers. He remained at Stelling Appliances until he was 17 and from there moved on to Curtos Home Appliances where he spent ten years building a clientele. In 1995, Alfred made the decision to join owners Stuart, Jay, and Ron as a salesperson at Leiberts Royal Green. He has been with the company ever since and continues to attract patrons with his extensive knowledge of the business and friendly demeanor.

Bruce Karel- Salesman/Store Manager

Bruce Karel has been an employee of Leiberts Royal Green since 2001. His experience in the appliance business, however, has spanned twenty-five years. He spent years at Consumer Appliances, Inc. on Central Park Avenue in Yonkers along with Tony, Jeff, and Stuart. While Bruce can give you information on any of the appliances in the Leiberts Royal Green showroom, he is an expert in electronics and would be happy to assist you in purchasing stereos, speakers, televisions, and various audio components for your home.

Jeff Mazin- Salesman

Jeffrey Mazin has been an employee of Leiberts Royal Green since 1997. He has almost 25 years of experience in the business and has worked with many of the salesmen here for a number of years at other appliance stores as well. There are few finer more knowledgeable appliance salesmen in the Country, and when there is a product question to be answered, Jeff is always the man in demand.

In addition to the sales staff, Leiberts Royal Green has talented people who work behind the scenes making sure that your service calls are in order, your deliveries are set up, and your experience with our store is a positive one.

Marlene Manzo is our Finance Officer of Accounts Receivable and Payable. She has been affiliated with the appliance business since 1986 and is happy to be with Leiberts Royal Green since November 1999.

Pamela Savage has been working with Leiberts Royal Green since April 2002. Pamela coordinates service for clients' appliances. She is the liaison between the customers and the manufacturer. Please see our Service Link for more information as to how Pamela can help you with your appliance service
